Installation Instructions

JHelpDev is a JAVA program and needs a Java Runtime Engine (JRE) to run. The JRE can be downloaded from www.java.com. The minimum requirement is version 1.5.

Binary Distribution

Just unzip the package and click on jhelpdev.jar. Alternatively you can use the scripts to start up JHelpDev.

Source Distribution

The source distribution can be used to inspect the JAVA code and to compile the project yourself. For more on this, check out the development section.
